Huguette Clark was a New York socialite who belonged to one of the wealthiest families in America of the early 20th century. Her father, Senator William A. Clark was a prominent and powerful magnate in a number of different industries including copper. The last 20 years of her life
were spent as a reculse living in a hospital while her mansions remained empty.
