Lotus report numbered 3113-4656, dated 10 January 2018, stating that the star sapphire is 8.07 carats, natural, Bluish Gray colour, of Burmese origin, no indications of heating or treatment; with a note stating that ‘this gem displays a six-rayed star in direct sunlight. Star gems are increasingly rare in today’s market.’
