Single-stroke Across the World, A Romantic Fantasy
Born in 1994, Mr Doodle grew up in an era when pop art and street art were popular. He once acknowledged that the American pop art leader Keith Haring was one of his enlighteners. However, the post-90s artist has been influenced diversely. In addition to the fun of the treasure hunt in his childhood comic book Wally's World, he is also influenced by the elements of popular video games at that time. Meanwhile, he traces the history of art in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, or even gets inspired from the works of Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch. Therefore, in his maze-like paintings, he presents a narrative and magical world.

And this is reflected in Heart Sweet House. Following the rhythm of Mr Doodle's lines, the characters in the painting spread out the vivid story kingdom in colorful forms. The blue accents and colors give the characters a finishing touch, and their individuality becomes more and more prominent in the complexity. And this work uses Mr Doodle's unique one-stroke drawing technique to shape a visual pursuit through a continuous line. With ample imagination and creative energy, it continuously draws one after another full of fun and vitality, making the images in series, showing clever collocation and one-go. And those unique villains and dolls are just like joyful partners grown out of the world of games and comics combined with imagination, unfolding a wonderful relationship in a common space to convey the endless happiness and imagination of the unique Doodle to the viewer.
