The Dehua artist Chen Wei is mentioned by Robert Blumenfield in Blanc de Chine，The Great Porcelain of Dehua，Berkeley，2002，pp. 139-40 where he discusses a figure with the inscription and seal of Chen Wei in the British Museum Collection，donated by Sir Augustus Wollaston Franks，acquisition no. Franks.76.+. Another standing figure bearing Chen Wei’s seal was sold at Christie’s New York，15-16 March 2015，lot 3143.
