This Buddha head has a beaded satin turban wrapped around his head. His face in a serene expression with curled up moustache，his hair is arranged upwards in a topknot centered by a flaming jewel which separates the hair into two. A similar example is illustrated in Gandharan Sculpture – A Catalogue of the Collection in the Museum of Art and Archaeology University of Missouri-Columbia，Missouri，1981，p.35；and another similar piece is illustrated in Gandharan Art（II）— The World of the Buddha，Tokyo，2003，p. 41，pl. 98.
