Born in 1953，Qing Qing has gone through Cultural Revolution，and has studied Chinese Medicine，as well as English-German Translation before devoting her career to art in 1994.Her artworks are mainly installations，and are usually inspired by materials that she feels familiar in daily lives，thus formed a unique style of Qing Qing that grasped the sentiment of the audience.She started to participate in various group exhibitions in 1996，and has hosted important solo exhibitions world-widely such as in Vienna Modern Art Museum，Austria，Contemporary Chinese Art Gallery，London，and Today Art Museum in Beijing.Her exquisite art style brings attention internationally.Her most distinguished installationsAncient linen dresses is so avant-garde that express sentiment beyond the generation.
Qing Qing is passionate about handmade artworks in details of sewing，knitting and embroidering.By creating objects that express topic such as history and sexuality.In Qiuniang，Qing qing highlights the knitted dress with dried rose and leaf branches，the thread of the work are softly presented within a transparent box，appearing like cultured yet sophisticated art installation.The work brings audience back to their old times，and touches their mind by the intimate composition，gives them a strong feeling to the inner strength that lives in the heart of Qing Qing.
