Of rectangular form, each set with four plaques, the lower plaque finely enameled portraying a continuous idyllic landscape filled with pavilion homes overlooking running streams surrounded by trees and rocky blue-green hills, the upper gilt-bronze plaque set within a circular-form frame with a poem of the Emperor Qianlong relating to the scene, signed Yu Minzhong, each panel mounted with a brass cloud-shaped wall hanger. The design on each panel has been carefully executed, the layout of the thin wires forming the rocky hills are precise and well planned. They are exceptional among all the cloisonné enamel artworks made in the Qianlong period.
