Elegantly formed by a clean and open profile with a robustly sweeping crestrail made of five sections supported by a pronounced curved pitch of the central three-paneled back splat and rounded front and back posts descending through the seat and forming the legs， the seat （originally rattan cane seat， restored with two boards）， supported by beaded aprons detailed with key-fret scrolls and cloud-shaped spandrels， the legs of round square section joined by round-sectioned stretchers and a footrest with exposed tenons on each side， all with a plain shaped apron， the fine-grain wood of deep chestnut patina.
