Adjustable length measuring 585mm to 760mm.
GIA report numbered 7171633094, dated 23 June 2014, stating that the pearl is natural salt water, Melo species, Orange colour.
Ocean’s Wonder
Melo Pearls are among the rare pearl varieties, originated from marine snails called Melo melo, hence named Melo Pearl. They are natural treasures of the sea, and still cannot be cultured to this day. The probability of finding a melo pearl is one in thousands and the chance of exploiting a large and high-quality melo pearls are even slimmer; with this scarce production, it is truly a rare wonder from the ocean.
Melo Pearl are mostly round or oval, with an orangy red, orangy yellow, yellow or brownish yellow to near white, but only the orange color similar to ripen papaya is the most valuable. With its unique flame pattern and a ceramic surface luster, this nature’s wonder are mostly sought after and mesmerized by connoisseurs.
