GIA numbered 1192261753, 9 April 2018, stating the diamond is 10.05 carats, natural, D colour, Interally Flawless clarity, with Excellent polish; along with a diamond type classification stating“along with a diamond type classification, stating‘The 10.05 carat Heart Brilliant diamond has been determined to be a type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India （particulary from the Golconda region） but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world.'

Heart-shaped diamond is finished on a round diamond basis, so it is more expensive and difficult than getting a round-shaped diamonds. Craftsmen need to have great skills and years of experience to balance between the size and brilliance of the diamond. The majority of the world’s most famous colourless diamonds with superb optical properties are classified as Type IIa. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan I and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor are examples of type IIa which also has a famous historic connection with Golconda diamonds mined from the historic Kingdom of Golconda in India. Type IIa Diamonds tend to have few inclusions which allow the most light to pass through the stone, making them more valuable. The total production only making up to 1–2% of all natural gem quality diamonds produced and are rarely encountered in the gem trade nowadays.
