The table top is supported by sloping paired legs which are tenoned into the top. The frame encloses a single rectangular drawer with a storage compartment below. The only decorative elements are plain large curved spandrels to the corners and under the join to the legs. The traces of red lacquer prevent firm identification of the wood, but it is likely to be oak.
