Jiang Zhaoshen, a native of Xi county, travelled by sea to Taiwan in 1949 and served as the Vice Curator of the National Palace Museum in Taipei. He was a student of the famous artist Pu Xinyu (Pu Ru), and his recognition and reputation in the Chinese painting international community is only surpassed by Zhang Daqian.
