A BRONZE WATER VESSEL, BU(Late Shang Dynasty, 12th Century BC-11th Century BC)

H. 16.8 cm. Mouth D. 16 cm.

Contracted square mouth, with tapering neck, round shoulder, and near flat bottom. There were three hollows on the bottom. String pattern decorated neck, shoulder with nine groups of Kui-dragon pattern on Leiwen ground. This BU was the typical vessel for wine culture of bronze.
