It is very rare to find depictions of jade goats or ibexes with straight horns in contrast to the somewhat more common representations of sheep or rams. A recumbent goat in the Beijing Palace Museum Collection is illustrated in Gugong Bowuyuan Cangpin Da Xi, Yuqi, vol. 4, Beijing, 2001 p. 217, no. 272.
