Please note the following information regarding the Sale of China Guardian Hong Kong Spring Auctions 2019:

 

“ Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia”

  1. The provenance of Lot 5 ‘Autumn Landscape’ by Pu Ru should be from Christie’s Hong Kong.
  2. The size of Lot 87 ‘Flower and Insect’ by Wang Xuetao should be 101x33cm.

 

“Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy” 

  1. The estimate of Lot 293  ‘Flowers and Bird” by Lin Fengmian should be HKD 250,000-350,000.
  2. The Medium of Lot 363 ‘Calligraphy in Running Script’ by Huang Xing should be ink on silk.
  3. The estimate of Lot 375 ‘Calligraphy in Clerical Script’ by Yi Lixun should be HKD 30,000-50,000.
  4. The size of Lot 398 Chen Zhao should be 105x40cm.
  5. The size of Lot 446 Wang Mingming should be 27x64cm(16).
  6.  Lot 471 Album of Landscape and Flowers should be eight leaves. One of them was painted by Liang Boyu.

 

“Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy”

  1. One of the publications of Lot 534  is cancelled. Please refer to Chinese text.
  2. The original publication date of Lot 631 should be 1959, and reprinted in 1961.

 

“Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art”

  1. Lot 760 Babblers by Ju Ming is withdrawn.

  2. Lot 1054  Yongzheng Period, AN EXTREMELY RARE MOULDED WHITE-GLAZED VASE, the estimates changed to: HKD 1,800,000- 2,200,000.

 

“Ancient Chinese Ceramics from the Tang to the Song Dynasty”

  1. Lot 1510, Southern Song Dynasty, A QINGBAI FIGURE OF A LADY, the estimates changed to: HKD 1,000-5,000.
  2. Lot 1511, Southern Song Dynasty, A QINGBAI FIGURE OF A GUANYIN, the estimates changed to: HKD 140,000-160,000.
