- Lot 1117 Please note that the present yixing teapot is signed by Yu Feng. A teapot in the K.S Lo Collection bearing the same inscription within a classic scroll border is illustrated by K.S. Lo in The Stonewares of Yixing - From the Ming period to the Present Day, London, 1986, p. 155, pl.83. The author suggests that the use of Manchu script within a scroll border is likely to indicate that both the K.S. Lo teapot and the present teapot were made for Manchu officials.
