Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy

  1. Lot 446 ‘Landscape, Flowers and Calligraphy’, the estimate should be HKD20,000-40,000.
  2. Lot 467 ‘Ink  Plum Blossom’ by Jin Nong is withdrawn.
  3. Lot 446Calligraphy in Running-script ‘, the estimate should be HKD25,000-35,000.
  4. Lot 529 ‘ Landscapes’ by Tang Yin, should be album leaves and hanging scroll.

  7. Lot 1117 Please note that the present yixing teapot is signed by Yu Feng. A teapot in the K.S Lo Collection bearing the same inscription within a classic scroll border is illustrated by K.S. Lo in The Stonewares of Yixing -  From the Ming period to the Present Day, London, 1986, p. 155, pl.83. The author suggests that the use of Manchu script within a scroll border is likely to indicate that both the K.S. Lo teapot and the present teapot were made for Manchu officials.
