Fifth Anniversary Review Series (I): Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas

It was in the autumn of 2012 that China Guardian (HK) held its first auctions in Hong Kong. Under the support of the general collecting community and friends both old and new, the auctions achieved great success with total sales reaching HKD 450 million. The events were such a sensation that they are probably still fresh in many people’s minds. Five years on, China Guardian (HK) is now firmly established in Hong Kong, bringing the local art market to a new level with the backup of an enterprising and persevering professional team.

To mark our fifth anniversary (the China Guardian Year), exciting plans are in hand to restructure our auctions and shows. Consignment for the upcoming auctions has already begun and our experts are determined to present collectors with even more spectacular pieces. Meanwhile, we have put together a series of reviews so that those special moments in the formative years of China Guardian (HK) can be relived.
