The rectangular cabinet has a pair of doors with framed floating panels and no central post. Its plain protruding base is carved with slightly rounded or 'cushioned' edges. There are brass hinges，caps trimmed with bai-tong （'white brass'）at the corners of the top frame，plain straps to the corners of the base，and wan-symbol pulls，with squared bail handles at the sides for portability.
