After getting into college, I started to think： what is the thing that I really liked？ And what is the thing I really needed？ And then I realized, the thing that I got trained were totally different from the things I liked. In the end, I finally chose the thing that I truly love—for example, dogs, they were nice and easy just like children. So today I no longer paint cynical kids, although some of my works are still very isolated, but they meant to last longer. In Doggy Radio, I tried to present the idea that “dogs are hanging around my room”, because I miss my childhood and my mood back then. I tried to tell myself not to forget my true willingness when I first started painting.
