The slender figure standing holding both hands in front of him，a bird perched on his left hand，his rounded face surmounted by an elaborate headdress. Compare with a similar unglazed figure of a falconer in the Guimet Museum Collection，illustrated by A. Hougron，La Ceramique chinoise ancienne，Paris，2015，p. 38.
The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescence test，Oxford Authentication Ltd.，sample no. C117f54
