Provenance:
Collection of Chu’s Jiu Ru Yuan, acquired in the 1980s, Hong Kong

The first mirror is of octafoil shape, cast in relief with two phoenix surrounding the central knob, encircled by an outer border of floral blossoms, ruyi clouds and birds. The other is of round shape, the central knob within a square border, the outer field with two groups of patterns, all within narrow bands and hatched lines.
