Collection of Chu’s Jiu Ru Yuan, acquired in the 1980s, Hong Kong

The long straight tang is perforated with a rectangular lashing hole. Long and narrow, the blade has an arched lower edge and a triangular tip. Projecting beyond the long descending edge that features three lashing holes is the lower curb. The present specimen is of a shape and design that were probably popular during the late Warring States period.
