From left to the right， the blade of the first yuan is slightly curving， with the icon of a beast head at the joint of the blade and the handle. The second yuan with facial pattern at the joint. The third one， with a triangular-shaped blade with textured surface between the plain median ridge and the beveled edges， cast in relief on both sides with a hole， with two slits in front of the straight back edge.
