Born in Yunnan in 1972，Zhao Guanghui was graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1996，when he began the career as an artist.He is good at creating mixed species with compound materials and media.He attempts to express people’s sense of oppression as well as the disruption of the environment and ecology when they face rapid development and change in urban life.From 2006 to 2012，he has held solo exhibitions in Hanart TZ Gallery in Hong Kong，Navarra Gallery in Paris，Metaphysical Gallery in Taipei and White Box Art Museum in Beijing，gaining wide attention from the art community.
The Right Deer Series No.2 is from a series of work that he has been creating since 2012.He uses a blend of man-made dentifrice fiber，steel mesh and other different materials，and realistically creates an artifact which looks like a deer-head specimen.However，taking a closer look，you would find that the artist intentionally embeds a headlamp of a modern car in the antler，expressing a kind of irony.Behind the pretty shape hides the conflict between human and nature，with special connotations.
