Another beautiful example of a standard type is this long, narrow table with everted flanges. Recessed, square-section legs are tenoned into a solid-plank top and cut to receive the pierced apron spandrels of cloud-scroll design. The end panels are pierced with a complex ju-yi pattern and are tongue and grooved into the inside edge of the legs. A lower horizontal rail forms the shoe foot.
