A Romantic Dialogue Between Me, and Another Me
In addition to the interesting storytelling creations, Huang Benrei also uses the anthropomorphic image of the rabbit Nini to analyze his inner perception and present allegorical thinking. An Alternative Self creates Nini's rich inner world with a romantic and lovely balloon world. In the colorful transparent balloons, it held a thin string, looking for the cared one in the maze. But when it looked back, he met a balloon-like self. Nini is like the Narcissus of Roman mythology, searching in a thousand worlds, but the one he loves the most is still himself. But this kind of psychological explanation in the narcissistic period is a way for everyone to find their true self in their growth. And through the lively and gentle image of Nini, we also complete a communication with others and self-reflecting, forming a romantic dialogue together.
