China Guardian 2017 Spring Auctions
Third day in the accumulative total reached RMB 2.9 billion
Into the third day of its 2017 Spring Auctions, China Guardian dazzled collectors with exquisite and quality collectibles offered in 10 separate sessions including Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Contemporary Chinese Painting, Rare Books and Rubbings, Letters and Manuscripts, Important References on Chinese Art, Contemporary Custom Design Jade Jewelry and Jadeite Bracelets, Exquisite Selection of Fans, Wind of Literary: Fan Collection, Messages of Longevity: Chen Ziqing’s Collection of Letters and Rubbings, etc.
Following fierce and determined bidding, the third day ended with sales totaling RMB 213 million (USD 31.2 million). As at 21 June, the accumulative total of China Guardian 2017 Spring Auctions stood at RMB 2.9 billion (USD 425 million).
Three more much anticipated sessions, namely Collection of Li Weixian: Ancient Coins and Sycee, Stamps, Covers and Banknotes, are opening on 22-23 June.
