This water vessel has a contracted mouth, round shoulders and a deep belly. The belly is widest near the top and tapers downwards to end in a flat and slightly concave base. Below the rim is a pair of ring-in-ring handles. Decorated with two concentric bands of interlaced dragons, the flat cover bears a ring lug at the centre and three equidistant ones along the rim.
From the shoulders down, the body is decorated with three concentric bands of interlaced dragons separated by two undecorated ones. The dragons are delineated in thick intertwining lines to achieve a strong visual impact. Mould join marks are clearly visible on the front and back of the belly. Patches of bluish green patina scatter on the exterior and interior of both the body and the cover to add to the archaic flavour of the vessel.
